Rachel Levitsky is the author of the book length serial poems Under the Sun (Futurepoem Books, 2003) and Neighbor (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2009), as well as several chapbooks: Dearly, 3, 4, 6 (Duration Press, 2005), The Adventures of Yaya and Grace (Potes & Poets, 1999), Dearly (a+bend press, 1999), Cartographies of Error (Leroy, 1999), and 2(1×1)Portraits (Baksun Books, 1998). Her first novel, The Story of My Accident is Ours, is forthcoming (Futurepoem, 2011). Four mini-essays on the poetics of confinement can be found online at the poetry project blog. She has taught writing and literature at Naropa University’s summer writing program, the Bard Prison Initiative, and Pratt Institute. She is the founder and co-curator of Belladonna*.
